As usual ignorant liberals rant and rave. The legislation did noting but put us deeper in the hole and the Sandy Hook relief was so laden with pork that only half of the money would have gone to disaster relief.. The relief bill will be reworked removing the Democrat pork and sent back to the Senate. Liberals fail to understand this country is broke and Obama is not fixing anything. Obama and the Democrats remind me of a bunch of drunks having a party as Rome burns to the ground. BTW, the rich pay their fair share, how about a few of you liberals paying your part?

Its good to see Sen. Bennet voted his conscience for the good of the country. Continuing down the 1 trillion dollar deficit path means “disaster for this country”. It is ridiculous to see all the pork in this bill to get it passed.

so Dougie wants cuts to be made…ok – so is Doug going to vote to cut funding for forest fighting services this year? or better yet will Dougie vote to cut funding/rebates/sweetheart deals for coal, oil and natural gas? Or will Dougie vote to make cuts in defense spending???

I can already guess that the answers are yes he’ll cut fire fighting, no he won’t vote against coal, oil or natural gas, and no he won’t vote to cut a penny of defense spending…

but he’s consistent! and useless!

I notice those slamming Lamborn are pretty silent on Sen Bennet. I would think that Sen Bennet going against it would make for a bigger headline. Guess since he is a Democrat, he gets a pass.

Oh Doug and our other Legislators, it is rare that you get everything you want in one piece of legislation. The important thing was to solve the imeediate problem (tax hikes on the lower/middle class) and come back to the table with scalpels and clear heads to work on spending reduction measures.
